Ox Turner is a comedian, host, and show producer. He is a comic who has used his own unique journey to offer a fresh form of laughter. “ImNotThatFunnyButMyLifeIs” is a tagline that perfectly sums up his material.
He was raised in Oakland, CA by an Ethiopian mother and an Black-American father, and he graduated college from Pennsylvania State University. Starting out in 2015, Ox began performing comedy and co-hosting a Hip-Hop Comedy Show in Oakland. Since then Ox has performed in Oakland, San Francisco, Ventura, Oxnard, and Virginia. Currently Ox lives in Oxnard, CA where he has performed and been able to create a recurring comedy showcase series “Welcome to the 805”.
